Ilwaco & Long Beach WA

Last year we went to the Oregon Zoo, Astoria, Warrenton but I only got the zoo pictures posted. So, even though these pictures are late at least they are here, right? We had a lot of fun on this year's Family Adventure, too.
A daddy-daughter moment that is forever captured in this mommy's heart.

Try, try again. The wind never cooperated with the kite flying but Maikol and Josh sure gave it a good try. They ran fast enough to keep it up for a little bit.

Chantry should be an architect.

We know who the real meanie is.
Aren't these the cutest little crabs you've ever seen?

This is why we go to the coast. It is so beautiful! It was such a visual treat and really so relaxing. It almost felt like a vacation. The girls were really such troopers. Chantry came along with us--it may've been more fun for us than for him. But we truly enjoyed having him there. Good memories.

This is the North Head Lighthouse at Cape Disappointment. You have to be at least 7 years old to climb the stairs inside and wearing closed toed shoes. (Though, last year we went to the Astoria Column and Maikol walked up and down every single stair. If I remember right there more than 160 steps!) So, we didn't get to go inside this year but we'll definitely go again.

Just so gorgeous!
