Just like "picking up" to vacuum means picking up the toys and putting them on the couch or the coffee table as long as it's up off the floor..."emptying the dishwasher" means taking everything out of the dishwasher but not without some sort of spin or take off of the most recently watched movie...nothing happens simply at our house, thank goodness (right?)
